Climbing as more than just a sport

Climbing as more than just a sport

The human being throughout his life performs different activities which are important for his physical and mental development.  Without a doubt, sport is one of them, which represents great importance in human life.  Physical activity is not really talked about much today, but despite this, it is not a subject that should be forgotten.

Sport is more than just exercising, it combines different abilities of the human being such as dexterity, intelligence, ingenuity, creativity and skill.  There are several sports in the world but the one I am going to talk about is "climbing".  Climbing is a sport in which all the abilities of the person are applied, from his strength to his intelligence.  This skill combines and results in demonstrating the coordination and control one has over their own body.  Despite the fact that a person is strong and has muscles, it does not mean that they will be good at climbing, since this discipline depends on technique and the control of the strength of the arms, legs and abdomen at the same time.
I am training at Ctres, a climbing academy, for 6 months now, and as a personal experience it is undoubtedly the best.  Last Sunday we went climbing the Cojitambo mountain which represented a unique and unforgettable experience.  Feeling the adrenaline and the wind on your face is like flying, being in nature helps clear your mind and be aware of the now.  This theme is related to Experiences since, as I mentioned, it influences people's lives, gives a different perspective of the world and makes you feel different emotions that you may never feel again.

Today people are subjected to a lot of stress and sport helps to control and reduce these levels of stress, for me climbing is my brake and it helps me to clear myself of reality for a few hours and think only about climbing and being happy, thinking a second on yourself and not on others or future things, focus on the now.
